The University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center would like to inform you about the dates of entrance exams being organized in Debrecen for the Academic Year 2014/2015

Students may choose to sit for an entrance examination on:

8th April 2014

15th May 2014 or

10th June 2014

The deadline of application for the September intake of the Academic Year 2014/2015 is 31st May, 2014.
Transfer and exemption requests can be submitted until 30th June, 2014.

To apply for any courses offered by the Medical School of Debrecen please send to the International Education Center a completed application form , your high school or college diploma and transcript (transcripts must be officially translated to English).
Students just about to complete their studies are required to send in a transcript and present their final diplomas at the entrance examination.

Please also send:

- vaccination report for Hepatitis B, Rose-rash (Rubeola), Mumps (Parotitis epidemica) and Measles (Morbilli),

- notarized financial statement,

- short CV in English,

- copies of the relevant pages of your passport,

- passport sized photograph

Applicants are requested to mail the above documentation and a cheque of 150 USD non-refundable application fee (it is also possible to transfer the application fee to our bank account, see below).

Admission Requirements

Foreign students can be admitted into the English Program of the Medical School if they meet the entrance examination requirements.

The exam consists of two parts:
  • written test from Biology, Chemistry and Physics (1 hour);

  • oral exam compulsory from Biology and  Physics or Chemistry.
